A day at the park...

Yesterday I took the girls to the park...or the "parking lot" as Emma calls it. For some reason she just can't say "park" by itself. Anyways, she was started to go up on the jungle gym (if that's what they still call them) and I realized she was afraid to stand up on it because it was the kind that had the holes in it. After talking her into it you would not believe how excited she was to be walking on something that had holes in it without falling through. When I was sitting there watching her I realized that this time next year she wouldn't have to play by herself she would have Haley running after her. I'm so excited to see how they interact with eachother, even though Emma has already started the whole "Haley stop touching my toys". Such exciting days ahead!!!!

Kids say the funniest things...

I sometimes wonder where kids get the things they say. Forget that, I always wonder...take Emma for example, I'll ask her why she is sitting in time out and she says "because I didn't love you mom". Seriously how do you keep a straight face when they say that? And that commercial, the one with the girl who is testing out that toothpaste overnight. The other day that came on and Emma turned around, ran her finger across her teeth and said "See...that's squeaky clean" It is amazing to me how innocent and simple they make things, the smallest things amaze them and they are so satisfied with an empty box or an old tupperware container. Speaking of Emma, she just got up in my lap and passed out...so thats all for now.
